A story of empowerment and development

Businesswomen's Development Association (BWD) An Egyptian non-governmental organization established in 1999 in the Tenth of Ramadan, registered under number 1075/1999.

It aims to empower women economically, support environmentally friendly small and micro enterprises, and develop the community in a comprehensive and sustainable manner through training, financing, and strategic partnerships.

An initiative for a nursing home in the city of Khanka, Qalyubia

This initiative comes as part of the Union's social responsibility to support vulnerable groups and improve services provided to the elderly. “Makers of Smiles – Dream, Joy, Hope” initiative

The “Kayanak” Economic Empowerment Initiative: “Training for Employment”

The association, in cooperation with the Arab Businesswomen's Union, launched the "Your Entity" initiative to empower women economically and provide them with employment in the most needy areas. This was achieved through the establishment of small and micro-enterprises, such as ready-made garment factories in the Sharqia Governorate, where hundreds of women were trained and employed, transforming them from unemployed to productive businesswomen with sustainable income.
